The LED (Langues Et Discours, 'language and discourse')

cycle of international conferences

The LED international conferences bring together researchers from various languages and research domains. Based on the complexity of discourse, their goal is to favour the exchange of ideas and data from various research domains on a given linguistic phenomenon. This multi-parameter approach, which remains relatively uncommon, seeks to contribute to taking research forward. The calls for papers encourage a broad range of discourse contexts or types of speakers, including disrupted or constrained speech situations.

The keynote speakers are recognised specialists in their research field, and are chosen for their very different perspectives on the linguistic phenomenon under study. The advisory boards, which include colleagues from both France and abroad, are also composed of specialists.

These conferences are part of the broader research output of the team MODELS, Modélisations en Dialogue et Etude des LangueS ('Modelisations in dialogue and study of languages') of the research lab LIDILEM, and led by Laure Gardelle and Laurence Vincent-Durroux. You can find out more about the activities of MODELS here.

LED 2021 is the second edition; here is our archive:
